Booking Terms & Conditions

Thank you for choosing Sand Dollar Destinations. These Terms & Conditions govern the travel planning and booking services provided by Sand Dollar Destinations. By requesting a quote, authorizing a reservation, or submitting payment, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions. 

Agency Relationship

Sand Dollar Destinations is an independent travel advisor affiliated with Atlas Coast Travel. We act solely as an intermediary between you and the travel suppliers providing your travel services, including but not limited to cruise lines, airlines, hotels, resorts, tour operators, transportation companies, excursion providers, and travel insurance providers.

Because we do not own, operate, or control these suppliers, we are not responsible for their acts, omissions, financial condition, schedules, cancellations, service quality, pricing, or any circumstances beyond our control.

Pricing & Availability

All prices and availability are subject to change until your reservation has been confirmed by the travel supplier and the required deposit has been received. Promotional pricing, inventory, taxes, fees, fuel surcharges, and exchange rates may change without notice.

Payments

Deposit amounts, payment schedules, and final payment deadlines are determined by each travel supplier. Failure to make payments by the supplier's due date may result in cancellation of your reservation, forfeiture of deposits, or other supplier-imposed penalties.

Sand Dollar Destinations does not charge planning or booking fees for standard vacation reservations. We are compensated through commissions paid by our travel supplier partners after travel is completed.

Reservation Changes & Cancellations

Any changes or cancellations after a reservation has been confirmed are subject to the policies, availability, and fees of the travel supplier. Some reservations are non-refundable or may be subject to substantial cancellation penalties.

Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your investment. Travel insurance may provide coverage for trip cancellation, interruption, medical emergencies, emergency evacuation, baggage loss, and travel delays.

If you decline travel insurance, you acknowledge that you assume full financial responsibility for any losses resulting from cancellations, illness, injury, weather events, supplier bankruptcy, travel interruptions, or other unforeseen circumstances.

Residents of states where we are not licensed to sell travel insurance may be referred to a licensed insurance provider.

Name Accuracy

It is the traveler's responsibility to provide the legal name of each traveler exactly as it appears on their government-issued identification or passport. Please carefully review all confirmations upon receipt.

Name corrections after booking may result in supplier-imposed fees, fare increases, cancellation of the reservation, or the need to rebook. Sand Dollar Destinations is not responsible for costs resulting from incorrect or incomplete traveler information provided by the client.

Passports & Travel Requirements

While Sand Dollar Destinations is happy to provide general guidance regarding travel documentation, each traveler is solely responsible for obtaining and carrying all required passports, visas, identification, vaccination records, and other travel documents required by the destination or travel supplier.

Requirements may change without notice. We recommend verifying current requirements directly with the appropriate government authorities before travel. Many international destinations require passports to remain valid for at least six (6) months beyond your travel dates.

Special Requests & Accessibility

We are happy to assist with requests such as accessible accommodations, mobility equipment, dietary needs, bed preferences, or cabin location requests. While every effort will be made to communicate your requests to the supplier, they cannot be guaranteed and remain subject to supplier availability.

Electronic Communications & Signatures

By working with Sand Dollar Destinations, you consent to receiving travel documents, proposals, invoices, itineraries, reminders, and other communications electronically via email and/or text message.

Electronic signatures, electronic approvals, electronic acknowledgments, and electronic acceptance of proposals, invoices, and travel documents shall be considered legally valid and binding.

Communication Policy

Providing exceptional customer service is our priority.

• Routine emails and messages are typically answered within one business day.

• Response times may be longer during evenings, weekends, holidays, or while assisting clients who are actively traveling.

• Clients currently traveling receive priority support.

• For same-day flight delays, airline check-in issues, or emergencies during travel, clients should contact the travel supplier directly for immediate assistance while also notifying Sand Dollar Destinations so we can assist whenever possible.

Affiliate Disclosure

Sand Dollar Destinations may recommend or provide links to excursions, hotels, transportation, attractions, or other travel-related products and services. Some recommendations may be affiliate partnerships through which we may earn a commission if you choose to make a purchase.

There is no additional cost to you, and we only recommend products and services we believe offer value to our clients.

Supplier Terms & Conditions

Each travel supplier maintains its own Terms & Conditions, payment requirements, cancellation policies, ticketing rules, baggage allowances, health requirements, and other travel policies.

By authorizing Sand Dollar Destinations to make reservations on your behalf, you acknowledge that you have reviewed, or have been provided access to, and agree to be bound by the Terms & Conditions of each supplier included in your itinerary. Copies of supplier terms are available upon request and are generally available on each supplier's website.

Client Responsibilities

Please review all quotes, confirmations, invoices, itineraries, and travel documents immediately upon receipt. Notify Sand Dollar Destinations promptly of any errors or discrepancies.

You are responsible for arriving at airports, cruise terminals, hotels, and other departure locations on time and for complying with all supplier rules and travel requirements.

Limitation of Liability

Sand Dollar Destinations and Atlas Coast Travel are not liable for the acts, omissions, negligence, financial condition, delays, cancellations, schedule changes, injuries, property damage, or other actions of independent travel suppliers.

We are also not responsible for events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to weather, natural disasters, pandemics, government actions, labor disputes, transportation interruptions, civil unrest, terrorism, or other force majeure events.

Acknowledgment & Acceptance

By submitting payment, authorizing payment, electronically approving a proposal or invoice, signing electronically, or otherwise authorizing Sand Dollar Destinations to make travel reservations on your behalf, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to these Booking Terms & Conditions, as well as the Terms & Conditions of the travel suppliers included in your itinerary.
